What does this shift mean for you?
You may be a man, but unless you are able to connect with the feminine essence within you, you are going to find it difficult to lead in the coming years. Because the leadership that is required in the next few decades, is a leadership that brings people together. A leadership that unifies and connects fundamentally requires feminine skills: the ability to have compassion, the ability to listen, the ability to care, the ability to allow people to open their hearts, the ability to inspire. These are all feminine values, whether they are recognized as such or not. And it doesn´t matter if you are a man, Because you have equal access to those values, as long as you chose to give your attention to them. You can still be a strong, decisive man who loves football and going out with the guys, but when it comes to being a leader, in this new time, you have to connect with feminine values, which have to do with bringing people together, rather than pushing them a part.
This is established in leadership and management discussions today – we are no longer in a time where top-down management is appropriate, we are no longer in a period where directive management works, we are in a time which requires teambuilding and collaboration. Male or female leader doesn´t matter – all leaders have to be able to tap into the feminine essence within. WITHOUT losing, or weakening, our masculine muscles: Both sexes need an equal amount of yin and yang to be complete and to co-create Wholeness.
I work with leaders, because businesses, organisations and communities are made up of people. And people who´s title or natural genius is as leaders are the ones who have the power to co-create the new.
